After visiting the Egyptian museum, you will head direct to Cairo Airport to take your flight to Luxor, then check-in your hotel for the night.

Karnak Temple

Karnak temple complex is a mythical capital that acted as one of the biggest religious sites in Ancient Egypt that dating back more than 4,000 years. The site is so massive that many visitors believe it takes nearly a full day to explore, and it's enough to know that the total site covers around 247 acres. The Complex was dedicated to the Theban triad of Amun, Mut, and Khonsu which as seen across the Pylons, shrines, temples, and more, which was built between 1971 and 30 BC.

Valley of the Kings

Valley of the Kings is the most awe-inspiring architectural structure in the ancient city of Luxor, which was established in the Underground during the New Kingdom (1570 – 1050 BC). The Valley has 63 tombs decorated with the finest art, which are dedicated to immortal rulers like Tutankhamun, Amenhotep, Seti I, Thutmose I, Ramses the Great, and many more.  It's just a royal necropolis, and the whole area was reserved for the burial of the pharaohs and nobles of the New Kingdom. 

Temple of Queen Hatshepsut

Hatshepsut temple is a striking marvel which was carved in the heavenly rocky cliffs of "Deir El Bahari" on the west bank of the Nile River which will shed light on the unique legacy of Queen Hatshepsut (1508-1458 BC) which immortalized her legacy and birth as one of the greatest and successful rulers of History as seen across the artworks of this classical piece of architecture that date to the New Kingdom.

Colossi of Memnon

These two identical enormous sculptures of Colossi of Memnon towered 23 meters in height, standing at the entrance of the ancient city of Thebes. The colossi of Amenhotep III (1391–1353 BC) are made of quartz that was created in Cairo and then taken to Luxor to be the divine guardians of this blessed capital city. Across the colossi are about 107 Roman-era Latin carvings and Greek inscriptions that tell his life story, beliefs, and achievements.

Pompey's Pillar is a striking red granite column, towering 28 meters tall, erected between 298–302 AD in honor of Emperor Diocletian. Despite its name, the pillar has no connection to Pompey but remains one of Alexandria’s most iconic and well-preserved Roman relics.

The Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa

This Roman grave site, the mound of shards, was created between the 2nd century and the 4th century AD, and the Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa are one of the most famous wonders of the Middle Ages. The colossal underground tomb has some of the finest collections of artwork that feature the most magical mixture of ancient Egyptian and Hellenistic influences.

Qaitbay Citadel

The magnificent Qaitbay Citadel is an Islamic architectural fortification made by Ashraf Sayf El-Din Qa'itbay between 1477 AD to 1479 AD. The Citadel was created using the salvaged rock of the ancient Lighthouse of Alexandria, one of the Seven Wonders of the ancient world known as the lighthouse of Alexandria which Built on the ruins of the ancient Lighthouse of Alexandria, it was later restored in 1840 AD. The Citadel has some of the best examples of Mamluk architecture that protected this historic city for many ages.
