This final resting place of Pharaoh Khufu (2609 BC - 2584 BC) is an epic piece of architecture that inspired travelers from all our the world and conveyed sensations of wonder and greatness. The pyramid was one of the tallest constructions on earth that reaching a height of 138.5 meters (454.4 ft), and it contains very advanced works of architecture as seen across its elaborate interior.

The Magnificent Sphinx

The Valley Temple is a funerary temple which is located at Giza Plateau and carved from local limestone. A part of the temple was constructed with pink granite and a part with Tura limestone. Saqqara Step Pyramid

The Saqqara Necropolis, located above the Nile Valley, was the site of the construction of the Djoser Step Pyramid during the 3rd dynasty, constructed between 2670 and 2650 BC. This particular pyramid is widely believed to be the very first pyramid ever built, with credit given to the highly skilled architect Imhotep. What sets this pyramid apart from others constructed during this era is its unique design consisting of six steps, as well as its construction materials, which included not only stone but also reeds and wood.

Memphis City

Luxor Temple by Night

Luxor Temple is one of the most remarkable monumental achievements dating back to the New Kingdom (1550 - 1070 BC). It was constructed in 1400 BC for holding crowning ceremonies, festivals, and the rejuvenation of the Kingship. Unlike most temples erected at that time, Luxor Temple was established not only for religious ceremonies but also to be a shrine so that the people could worship the divine portion of the king, called the royal "Ka".

Colossi of Memnon

The Colossi of Memnon is a divine piece of mythical glory and wonder of Amenhotep III (1391–1353 BC) that inspired many great travelers during the Hellenistic period. This quartz monument was carved in Cairo and then dragged all the way to Luxor to be a beacon of power and royal bliss.

Mohammed Ali Mosque

The National Museum of Egyptian Civilization
