Day 1

Arrival at Cairo Airport - Enjoy Dinner Cruise

Welcome to Egypt – Trips in Egypt

When you arrive at Cairo Airport, you will meet one of our travel agency representatives in the arrival area. He will be holding a signboard with the name of "Trips in Egypt," and he will assist you in finishing your formal procedures inside the terminal. After that, you will be met and greeted by our exceptional tour guide, who will be very helpful with you and let you know how your tour will be arranged and what time you will be picked up every day from your hotel. You will have some rest at your 5-star hotel and spend some leisure time on your own.

Dinner Cruise

At night, you will be picked up to have a marvelous Dinner Cruise on board a wonderful cruise to experience sailing on the longest river in the world and have the best dinner meal in the middle of the Nile River.

Overnight

After finishing your dinner cruise, which lasts mainly for a couple of hours, you will get a transfer back to your hotel to sleep overnight.

Giza Pyramids Complex

Giza Necropolis is known all over the world for including the oldest archaeological wonders ever made, which include the three pyramids of Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaura, representing the pure greatness of the ancient Egyptians who achieved immortality.

The Great Pyramid

The Seven Wonders of the Ancient World include the spectacular Pyramid of Khufu, which leads to the heavens, which was completed in 2570 BC to protect the body of Pharaoh Khufu (2609 BC - 2584 BC) in the king's chamber to lead his royal body to the heavens to join his place with the gods. The Pyramid was able to reach the limits of the skies at 138.5 meters (454.4 ft), which makes it one of the tallest archaeological marvels on Earth.

The Great Sphinx

All tourists who come to visit the Giza plateau admire taking fabulous pictures with the sculpture of the Great Sphinx that carries the face of Pharaoh Khafre (2558–2532 BC) on the strong body of a prehistorical limestone which has been the guard of the complex during the whole past centuries there are tens of theories that revolve around its construction and why it took that shape and what happened exactly to its nose?

Saqqara Step Pyramid

Saqqara pyramid was the first pyramid to be built between 2670–2650 BC, and it was designed that way, especially for the ruler of the 3rd dynasty, Djoser, which in turn changed the face of the architecture of this golden civilization. Imhotep was the intelligent designer who designed it, and it was intended to be the tomb of Pharaoh Djoser.

Memphis City

The great King Narmer was the one who established this golden civilization and founded this incredible ancient city before the first dynasty around 3100 BC, after the unification of Upper and Lower Egypt, and it now contains some of the most incredible artifacts and monuments, some of which belong to Ptah, the god of Protection.

Valley of the Kings

No visit to Luxor is complete without exploring the last resting site of the ancient Egyptian Pharaohs & Kings, "The Valley of the Kings". You will find about 63 different tombs belonging to members of the 18th, 19th, and 20th dynasties, who ruled Egypt during the New Kingdom (1570–1050 BC), and some of the most fascinating tombs belong to Ramses II, Seti I, and the tomb of the young pharaoh Tutankhamun.

Colossi of Memnon

While heading to the Colossi of Memnon, you will feel like a real Pharaoh as you will stand next to the two colossal statues of the great Pharaoh Amenhotep III (1391–1353 BC), who managed to find many interesting ancient sites. It is carved of quartz in Cairo to reach 18 m (60 ft) tall and is filled with many epic carvings of him and his family. If it wasn’t for nature, we could have now his whole mortuary complex right behind his statues.

The Mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut

You will also enjoy your tour of the spacious mortuary temple of Queen Hatshepsut, the daughter of Thutmosis I, and what distinguishes Queen Hatshepsut (1508-1458 BC) from any other pharaoh is that she has been the only Pharaonic woman to rule in ancient Egypt. She didn’t just rule Egypt, she managed to write her name among the legendary ones who made what others couldn’t. The temple was carved in the cliffs of Deir el Bahari to be the holy of holies and has many carvings that glorify her legacy, birth, and the power of Amun.

After visiting the temple of Hatshepsut, you will head to a restaurant in Luxor to have a delicious lunch. Then continue your trip by visiting:

Karnak Temple

This is one of the greatest examples of religious and archaeological temples ever built between 1971 BC and 30 BC by the ancient Egyptian royalty from different periods of the Middle Kingdom across the end of the Hellenistic period. Karnak temples complex has been dedicated to three deities, and that is why upon your arrival at the complex, you will find three different temples, one for Amun, one for his wife Mut, and the last one for their child, Khonsu.

Salah El-Din Citadel

This charming citadel was built between 1176–1183 AD by Saladin El-Qyouby, who was a great army leader, and he managed to establish the Ayyubid Dynasty. Salah el din Citadel was seat as the seat of the king with his government for more than 700 years. You will learn a lot there about how leaders managed to defend Egypt against any enemy crusades. Within the Citadel are a number of epic houses, museums, and art galleries that convey the most marvelous tales.

Mohamed Ali Mosque

The Mosque of Mohamed Ali is a very impressive example of Ottoman architecture in Egypt. It was built between 1830 and 1848 AD during the amazing reign period of Mohamed Ali, who managed to make Egypt an independent state not under the control of the Ottoman power during the 19th century.

The National Museum of Egyptian Civilization 

The National Museum of Egyptian Civilization (NMEC) will offer a feast for the senses where everyone will explore the historical, artistic, and cultural treasures of this everlasting civilization which lasted about 7000 years. Within the NMEC are about 50,000 artifacts that date to many ages and convey the most epic facts.

Al Muizz Street

Al Muizz Street is a historical street located in Old Cairo known for its beautiful architecture and rich history. It holds many mosques, madrasas (Islamic schools), and other historic buildings. Muizz Street was created around 970 AD to be the vital lifeline of this immortal capital. In it, everyone can explore the best cafes, museums, and art galleries. 

Khan El-Khalili Bazaar

To have the highest level of fun and enjoyment, you need to have a shopping tour at the end of your vacation in Egypt at one of the most adorable & recommended open-air museums in Old Cairo.
