Erected around 1350 BC by the order of Pharaoh Amenhotep III (1391–1353 BC) of the 18th Dynasty, these monumental figures once guarded the grand entrance to his mortuary temple. Abu Simbel Temples

The Abu Simbel Temples are a prominent tourist attraction in Egypt that was constructed during the reign of Ramses II between 1279-1213 BC. It is composed of two identical temples, the larger of which is dedicated to Ramses II and the smaller to his wife, Queen Nefertari. What sets this temple apart is the annual phenomenon called "The Sun Festival," which occurs on February 22nd and October 22nd, during which the sun illuminates the faces of the four main statues located at the back of the temple, in celebration of the king's birthday and coronation.

The Unfinished Obelisk

The Unfinished Obelisk is a symbol of the magnificence of ancient Egyptian architecture from the reign of Queen Hatshepsut (1508-1458 BC). It was originally erected at the entrance of the Karnak Temple, with construction beginning in 1508 BC. Unfortunately, much of the structure was damaged during the building process, resulting in its unfinished state. Despite this, the remains of the obelisk still stand today, serving as a testament to the ancient Egyptians' impressive building techniques.

Philae Temple

Philae Temple is a mythical structured temple that was built between 380-362 BC by Ptolemy II. The temple is dedicated to Isis, the goddess of motherhood, who gave life to her husband Osiris.
